Howard County Senior Centers offer a wide variety of programs and services including fitness programs, educational opportunities through Howard Community College and other instructors, arts, music, wellness classes and many opportunities for recreational activities including cards, games, clubs and more. Our focus is on the needs and interests of Howard County’s older adults. Senior Centers also serve as a gateway to the many services offered by the Office on Aging.
The Office on Aging operates six (6) senior centers, one nutrition site and four therapeutic programs for individuals with additional support needs. The Senior Center Plus program operates in three of the county’s senior centers: Ellicott City, Glenwood and North Laurel. The Kindred Spirits Social Club, a club for individuals with a new diagnosis of dementia, is offered at the Glenwood 50+Center only.
