Polling Officers (PO/ APO/ OPO) duties divide at Election Timings ?

On appointment as Presiding Officer read the below instructions carefully

1. Report at the training venue as per time specified for training.
2. Attend training programmes and listen carefully .
3. Obtain copy of Presiding Officers Hand book /check list &other material and read them carefully.
4. Familiarize with election process and procedure.
5. Practice on the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and VVPAT.
6. Apply for Postal Ballot for your self. Your right to vote is important.
7. Clarify doubts about elections and your role if any.
8. Don’t waste your time on attempts for exemptions. Take pride in your work as PrO.
9. All Presiding officers please note that at the end of training mock form filling exercise will be conducted .

ఎలక్షన్ ఆఫీసర్ విధులు బాధ్యతలు

ఈ ఎలక్షన్లో ప్రతి పోలింగ్ బూత్ లో ఒక ప్రిసైడింగ్ అధికారి (PO) + APO + 2 OP0s లు విధులు నిర్వర్తిస్తారు.

అనగా 1+3 సిస్టం లో మనం ఎన్నికల విధులు చేయాలి.
👉 PO = ప్రిసైడింగ్ అధికారి
👉 APO = అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రిసైడింగ్ అధికారి (1st PO= మొదటి పోలింగ్ అధికారి )
👉 OPOs = OTHER POLLING OFFICERS (2nd PO, 3rd PO = రెండవ, మూడవ పోలింగ్ అధికారి)

👤 1ST PO భాధ్యతలు:- ఇతను మార్కుడ్ కాపీ భాధ్యుడు.

🟢మార్కుడ్ కాపీ అంటే ఇచ్చిన Electoral Roll ( ఓటర్ల జాబితా ) లో మార్క్ చేయడానికి వాడేది.

🟢ఓటర్ల గుర్తింపు మరియు సీరియల్ నెంబర్ పేరు గట్టిగా 🗣 చదవడం చేస్తారు

🟢ఓటరు నిజమని పోలింగ్ ఏజెంట్లను అడిగాక, ఒకసారి ఎడమ చేతి చూపుడు వేలు👇ని చెక్ చేయాలి.

🟢ఓటర్ తెచ్చిన డాక్యుమెంట్ ( EPIC CARD/ AADHAR CARD Etc.,) ని వెరిఫై చేయాలి.

🟢కేవలం ఓటర్ స్లిప్ తొ ఓటు ఇవ్వరాదు. (EPIC CARD ఉంటే చాలా మంచిది. ఎందుకంటే ఇతర డాక్యుమెంట్లు తెస్తే తర్వాత scrutiny కి అవకాశం ఉంటుంది.)

🟢ఏజెంట్ల ని అడగాలి. ఏజెంట్లు సరేనని అంటే మార్కుడ్ కాపీలో ఓటర్ కి సంబంధించిన బాక్స్ లో ఎర్ర పెన్ను తో క్రాస్ లైన్ (DIAGONAL LINE) గీయాలి.

🟢ఒక వేళ ఓటర్ – 🙋‍♀మహిళా ఓటర్ అయితే ఆ సీరియల్ నెంబర్ కు రౌండప్ చేయాలి.

🟢ఒకవేళ ఓటర్ –🧏🏻 ట్రాన్స్ జెండర్ అయితే సీరియల్ నెంబర్ కి స్టార్ గుర్తు వేయాలి

(Note- ఏ ఓటరుకైన క్రాస్ లైన్ తప్పనిసరి.)

👤 2nd PO భాధ్యతలు:-

రెండవ పోలింగ్ అధికారి(PO-2) కి 3 పనులు ఉంటాయి.

👉1- ఓటర్లకు చెరగని సిరా ( INDELIBLE INK) వేయడం
👉2- 17A రిజిస్టార్ లో వివరాల నమోదు
👉3- ఓటర్ స్లిప్ వ్రాయడం

🟢వచ్చిన ఓటర్ కి ఎడమ చేతి చూపుడు వ్రేలికి ఇంక్ వేయాలి.

🟢తర్వాత 17A రిజిష్టర్ లో వివరాలు రాయాలి.

🔥 17A రిజిష్టర్ రాసే విధానం:-

🟢ఇందులో మొదటి కాలమ్ లో సీరియల్ నెంబర్ (1,2,3…) రాయాలి.

🟢రెండవ కాలమ్ లో Electoral Roll ( ఓటర్ల జాబితా ) లోని వరుస సంఖ్య రాయాలి.

🟢మూడవ కాలమ్ లో వచ్చిన ఓటరు సంతకం/వేలి ముద్ర తీసుకోవాలి.

NOTE:- AGE డిక్లరేషన్ తో ఓటు వేసే ఓటర్ వేలి ముద్ర మాత్రమే తీసుకోవాలి. ఎందుకంటే తర్వాత వెరిఫై అయిన వేలి ముద్ర ఉంటే అతను అవునా, కదా అని బలం ఉంటుంది.

ముఖ్యమైన అంశం :- వేలి ముద్ర వేసిన తర్వాత ఓటర్ ని అతని వేలిని బట్ట తో తుడుచుకోమని కోరాలి. ఎందుకంటే వేలి ముద్ర ఇంకు బ్యాలెట్ మిషన్ పై పడే ప్రమాదం ఉంటుంది. కావున కచ్చితంగా అక్కడే తుడుచుకోమని చెప్పాలి.

🟢నాల్గవ రిమార్క్స్ కాలమ్ లో a,b,c,d కాలమ్ లు ఉంటాయి.

⭐a వద్ద ఓటర్ తెచ్చిన డాక్యుమెంట్ పేరు రాయాలి. అది ఎలాగంటే EPIC CARD అయితే EP అని, ఇతర డాక్యుమెంట్ లు (OTHER DOCUMENTS) అయితే OD అని రాసి……

⭐తెచ్చిన డాక్యుమెంట్ యొక్క చివరి 4 నెంబర్లు b వద్ద రాయాలి. (EPIC CARD అయితే EP రాయాలి అంతే దాని నెంబర్ రాయనవసరం లేదు.)

⭐C వద్ద Mismatch of Image, if any అని ఉంటుంది అందులోఅవసరం అయితేనే ఫోటో సరిగ్గా ఉందో లేదో రాయాలి, లేకుంటే వదిలేయాలి.

⭐d వద్ద ఇతర రిమార్క్స్ ఏమైనా ఉంటే రాయాలి.

🔥 ఓటర్ స్లిప్ రాయడం:-
ఓటర్ స్లిప్ లో మొదటి వరుసలో- 17A రిజిష్టర్ లోని కాలమ్-1 లోని నెంబర్ ని రాయాలి.

⭐రెండవ వరుసలో-Electoral Roll ( ఓటర్ల జాబితా) లోని వరుస సంఖ్య రాయాలి.

⭐మూడవ వరుసలో-ఓటర్ స్లిప్ రాసే పోలింగ్ అధికారి సంతకం చేయాలి. సంతకం చేసిన ఓటర్ స్లిప్ ని కౌంటర్ ఫైల్ నుండి వేరు చేసి ఓటర్ కి ఇయ్యాలి.

👤 3rd PO భాధ్యతలు:-

ఓటర్ ఇచ్చినఓటర్ స్లిప్ ని తీసుకొని CU లో BALLOT పై క్లిక్ చేసి ఓటు ని ఇవ్వాలి.

🟢ఓటర్ ని కంపార్ట్ మెంట్ లోకి వెళ్లి ఓటు వేయుమని చెప్పాలి.

🟢BALLOT ఇచ్చినపుడు CU లో రెడ్ లైట్ వస్తుంది. ఓటర్ ఓటు వేశాక బీప్ సౌండ్ వచ్చి రెడ్ లైట్ పోతుంది.

🟢ఇక్కడ చాలా జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండాలి. ఓటర్ ఓటు వేశాడా లేదా అని కచ్చితంగా నిర్ధారించుకోవాలి.

APO duties
మార్క్ డ్ కాపీ ఆఫ్ ఎలక్టోరల్‌ కు బాధ్యుడు ఈయనే.
ఇతను ఓటరు తెచ్చిన ఓటరు స్లిప్ ప్రకారం పేరు,సీరియల్ నెంబర్ బిగ్గరగా చదవాలి.
పురుష ఓటర్ల పేరు కింద అండర్ లైన్ చేయాలి, స్ర్తీ ఓటర్ల పేరు కింద అండర్ లైన్ చేసి,సీరియల్ నెంబర్ వద్ద టిక్ పెట్టాలి.

మొదటి OPO Duties
ఓటర్ల రిజిస్టరు (17 A)లో ఓటరు సంతకం / వేలిముద్ర తీసుకొని, ఓటరు తెచ్చిన గుర్తింపు కార్డులోని చివరి ఆరు/ నాలుగు అంకెలను వ్రాయాలి.
ఇతనే ఎడమ చూపుడువేలుపై నిలువుగీతను/గుర్తును చెరగని సిరాతో పెట్టాలి.
రెండవ OPO Duties
ఓటరు స్లీప్స్ ఇస్తాడు.
లోకసభకు తెలుపు, శాసనసభకు పింక్ /ఆరెంజ్ రంగులో ఇవి ఉంటాయి.

మూడవ OPO Duties
లోకసభ కంట్రోల్ యూనిట్‌కు భాద్యుడు.
ఇతను ఓటరు తెచ్చిన తెలుపు స్లిప్ తీసుకొని CU లో ఓటు రిలిజ్ చేస్తాడు.
