Booted & Towed Vehicles

Release of a towed vehicle must be handled in person. Owners of vehicles booted with a self-release boot may release the boot themselves by calling the Boot Release line at (855) 288-2642. They may also visit a Public Service Center to make payment and arrange for an assisted release of the boot.

Owners of vehicles towed after having a self-release boot applied may still call the Boot Release Line at (855) 288-2642 to pay their citations, but a tow release form must be obtained from a Public Service Center in person.

Info

If your vehicle was booted, you must pay an additional $150.00 boot fee to have your vehicle released. Boots can be removed in one of two ways:

Self-Release
You may call the Boot Release line 24-hours a day at (855) 288-2642 and use a credit card to pay all outstanding parking citations and the $150.00 boot fee. Once your payment has been approved, you will be given a code to release the boot. You must return the boot to one of the locations listed below within 24-hours. Failure to return the boot within 24-hours or causing damage to the boot may result in additional fees.

Assisted Release
If you are unable to remove and return the boot yourself, you may call the boot release line 24-hours a day at (855) 288-2642 to pay the outstanding parking citations and $150.00 boot fee. A Traffic Officer will be dispatched to remove the boot during normal releasing hours: 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM (releases requested after 3:00 PM are not guaranteed). You may also pay the fines and boot fee at a Public Service Center and then call the Boot Release line to arrange for the boot to be removed.

Note that you must pay all parking fines within 48-hours of the time your vehicle was booted or your vehicle will be subject to towing.
